Non- Attendances (DNA's)
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in a one-hour deduction from the total allocated training hours regardless of reason. Or it will incur a charge of one hour, our hourly charge is $100+gst/hour.
Non-attendance includes cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session or failure to attend ("no-show").
Non-attendance will be communicated to the referrer or payer immediately.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Training sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled with more than 24 hours’ notice at no additional charge.
Computer equipment & Microsoft Office subscription
Clients completing computer training will need access to a computer or laptop that has a current version of Microsoft Office installed on it.
If they do not, the following options will be quoted based on the client’s situation:
Lease Laptop; the client will return this at the completion of their training and will sign a lease laptop agreement at the beginning of the lease. The client is liable for damage.
Supply & install of a Microsoft Office 12-month subscription on the client’s computer or laptop.
Supply & set up of a laptop package, including basic laptop, wireless mouse, 12-month subscription of Microsoft Office.
When installing software on a clients personal laptop; if any challenges arise during any software installation, we will not proceed and discuss alternative options.
Putty assumes no responsibility for any damage to the client's computer caused by software installation.
Putty will require a consent form to be signed by the client before installation of any software on their computer or laptop, this includes temporary applications like Team Viewer or Zoom if Putty are installing or assisting with the installation remotely.
At the end of the subscription, the client can choose to purchase their own Microsoft Office subscription directly from Microsoft.
*Please note lease laptops are subject to availability, and we often have waitlists on them.
Training put ON HOLD
If training is placed on hold, the weekly laptop lease fee continues.
For holds longer than four weeks, the laptop must be returned.
When training resumes, rental charges restart, and quotes may need to be adjusted for additional weeks if needed.
